New Look, Who This?
I’m popping up to share excitement about this whole new look I’ve got going for the site and blog. What do you think?
I have been inching along with projects, but overall I’ve been pretty easy on myself and others. The pandemic, the election, social unrest… there’s just a lot to live through right now.
All the same, I’m doing my best to dedicate some solid time to one of my newest projects: NightQueen, an afro-surreal performing arts suite!
I started dreaming it up in earnest about a year ago. (Check out my little write up on MIT Press’s Leonardo publication, pg 253.) Since then, I have been pitching it around here, there and everywhere. And I’ll be sharing more news soon about some concrete opportunities with Prop Thtr and The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
