STORIES AND SONGS OF CHICAGO

As part of the Lyric Opera’s Chicago Voices Initiative, Stories and Songs of Chicago, celebrated the vitality of this City’s creative community, empowering diverse arts groups to tell their own stories.

In 2016, I was invited to write for one group with Harmony Hope & Healing. The following year I was invited back to serve as librettist, scriptwriter for the entire program. I developed work with three amazing arts groups.

Everything came together in a sold-out evening length presentation at Chicago’s Harris Theater. I was so proud and excited!
