2021 Year in Review

Argh, another year in this pandemmy!

Let’s be honest, 2021 was a challenging year on so many fronts!  COVID-19 is still with us, political and cultural strife continues to drive us apart. Environmental catastrophe. Economic collapse… Its all there.

Still I know personally, I have an awful lot to be thankful for. My family remains mostly in good health.  My partner and I purchased our first home. And, as we settled into an extended virtual world, I got back into some good grooves as a writer, as noted on prior posts.

So I’m heading into this year with some great momentum.

-as a creative capital 2021 awardee

-as co-creator of HIVE, with screenings at Series Fest, Minnesota Webfest and more

-with projects in active development under OTV Studio, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Primary Stages and Chicago Dramatists.
